iCare uCare Youth Leadership Team's Free Extracurricular Textbooks Distribution

On July 26, 2025, three members of the iCare uCare Youth Leadership Team—Ethan Hou, Elaine Hou, and Evan Yang—volunteered to distribute extracurricular textbooks to parents of students in grades 1 through 9 from the local community. They took on responsibilities such as organizing and transporting large boxes of textbooks, sorting them by grade level, and setting up tables to create a welcoming and efficient distribution area. Once the setup was complete, the youth volunteers assisted parents by answering questions, helping them locate the appropriate materials for their children, and ensuring a smooth flow throughout the process. Their clear communication and teamwork played a key role in making sure every student received the correct textbooks—supporting elementary and middle school students in getting a head start on the new school year.
